Go Figure - Rain

My last week in Kentucky, and of course there's got to be the possibility of thunderstorms every day.

This weekend was fun, yesterday Park Place threw their annual pool party, which basically boiled down to free food and beer. And as if that weren't enough, the bonus was a raffle that I actually won- $100 off of one month's rent! Seeing as how our lease expires next Tuesday, I convinced the manager to just give us a refund on June's rent. So I'll take that.

It was hotter than hell yesterday. I just remember walking around on the deck and my feet burning, like I was walking on hot coals or something (hotfoot). And today was a complete 180, thunderstorms for a good part of the afternoon, which I didn't mind. It feels really cool out now.

Enough about the weather. I want to make the most of my last week here, try and do all the stuff I'd meant to do these past six months- go to a Legends game, go out on a date with a Kentucky girl, and a few other things I can't really think of right now.

The good news is that I'll be back down here in May. So instead of missing yet another semester at MSU, i'll be in Kentucky until August, which I'm really looking forward to. The summers are great here.

So have a good week, no matter where you are.
