The Derby Sucked

Seriously, I was not impressed at all. I thought it'd be an all out party, but it really wasn't. I think the parking lot before going into Churchill Downs was a lot better, and that's not saying much. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend going to the infield party at the Derby, unless it's your first time. I guess I can just say I went, and that's about it. Definitely not worth $40.

I did manage to escape with a souvenir. It's about 8 feet long by 6 feet tall, and even though I don't drink all that much, it's going up on the wall next year:
And now here's the good stuff. Apparently someone broke into our apartment last night, through the living room window. Luckily, Keith's friends were sleeping in the living room, and the would be robber tripped on one of the guys and fell on the other. He then dove back out the window. I'm glad his friends were there, otherwise we would've been screwed. Frankly, I'm a little nervous to go to sleep tonight, even though I know the windows are locked now and the guy would be an idiot to try that again. I hope I can fall asleep tonight.
